We would like to help students from accidentally or voluntarily un-enrolling from a course.

There's a very old topic here, anything new from then?

Thank you very much

Hi Roberto,

Yes, things have changed completely since 2006! In recent versions of Moodle you can prevent students from unenrolling themselves by making sure the role of student does not have the capability to unenrol.

If you are using self enrolment, the capability is enrol/self:unenrolself; if you are using manual enrolment, the capability is enrol/manual:unenrolself.

You can prevent students from unenrolling themselves from all courses on your site by editing the student role definition in Site administration > Define roles.

You can prevent students from unenrolling themselves from one particular course by editing the permissions in that course.
