I still have the autoSave => 0 option, however in the last week the drafts have started coming back again. The only thing which has changed in that time is the site has changed from http to https, and I can't see why that would have an effect...
Edit: Interestingly i just checked the javascript being generated by the editor and it still has autoSaveEnabled: true, even though I've told it to turn it off.
We are running on Moodle 3.1 nowadays.
Does anyone know why this might have cropped up again?
