Every couple weeks my students have an exam and many of them forget their passwords and don't tell me until we sit down to test. So then I have to give them a temporary password while the others are waiting to test. This is not so big of an issue but now I can't change it anymore! If I change the password from my end by editing their profile it doesn't change (or at least not to what I set it to) and then the student has to spend 30 minutes trying to use the "forgot my password" function which still works. What could be going on? What do I check. I have not seen any errors even with MAXIMUM reporting on.
What authentication method are you using?
Im using Email, Manual and No Login. The "No Login" i was using for suspended accounts.
