Turnitin currently working on an older version of moodle 2.8.9 New version of moodle 3.1.1 has turnitin 2 and test connectivity works.
On new moodle new links for tunitin can be created and on the turnitin direct account students accounts and classes are created but students cant upload assignments of any type.
Configurations checked and look similar.
Error 500 if manual submission by the tutor. Students just hangs with circle on the screen??
Any ideas
Is PHP fileinfo installed?
Do you get any more detail of the error if debugging is set to a higher level?

I'm just new to Moodle and have a very basic question. We have just upgraded to 3.2. We have always used Turn It In as a plug in for student assessment submissions but since the turn it in plug in isn't compatible with 3.2, I want to ask about using the assignment tool - does assignment include Turn It In? if so is there any particular way of setting it up.

The plagiarism plugin works with the Moodle assignment - https://moodle.org/plugins/plagiarism_turnitin. We're currently working out some glitches with 3.2 but should be releasing a compatible version soon.
