I am seeking guidance on best practices to derive a new activity plugin based on database.
This is for a simple teacher leave management system. I will be adding / modifying code for this purpose.
Question: If a new Moodle update enhances the database activity module and if I want to incorporate those into my new activity module what is the best way to go about this? (Other than repeating the changes I made, to each new update which will get tedious quickly)
