During an attempted upgrade to 3.2 from 3.1, I got an error about an non-existent file. It turns out the file is a video file that used to be a resource in a lesson but was deleted from that lesson. I guess the delete failed in that the video file was indeed deleted from moodledata/filedir, but the corresponding rows in mdl_files were not. Furthermore, the component that used the file is an optional plugin that is no longer installed (mod_videofile).
My question is whether I can simply delete the two corresponding rows in mdl_files, or is there something else of which I need to be aware.
