I just got done completing our site migration, going from a VM to a physical machine, and I rsync'd everything over and I am now getting Fatal error: $CFG->dataroot is not writable, admin has to fix directory permissions! The screenshot I just took, and while everything is writable, I am still getting this error. Is there something that I am missing?
fixed it. SeLinux got me.
