Moodle 3.2 with new look and feel (Boost theme) is due for release in four weeks from now, so it's time to run another Quality Assurance (QA) testing cycle, starting today: Moodle 3.2 QA. The list of over 500 tests includes tests covering new features and improvements in Moodle 3.2.

If you'd like to have a play with Moodle 3.2 on our QA testing site and at the same time help with QA testing, please read the QA testing guide and send me a message if you'd like to be added to the testers group in the Moodle Tracker. New testers are always welcome. smile

We're aiming for a 100% pass rate of QA tests within the next three weeks, so all help is much appreciated!

Few point to consider this QA cycle:

  1. Please test with both Boost and Clean theme.
  2. Boost theme has new navigation, so look for:
    •  icon with editing options.
    • ☰ icon to toggle navigation menu.

On QA site, you can change theme by selecting theme from header menu "THEME".

Course administration setting can be accessed by clicking cog icon.

Thanks for offering to help with QA testing, Dennis.

I've added you to the testers group in the tracker, so you can now pass or fail QA tests. Hopefully the process is fully explained in http://docs.moodle.org/dev/QA_testing but if there's anything you're not sure about, please post it in this forum.

Regards

Rajesh

On qa.moodle.net if the left sidebar has too many options and you login as manager the "site Admin" button at the bottom is not fully seen when scrolling to the bottom of the page.  It is hard to get a screenshot.

Here is what I changed and it fixed the issue.  I used padding-top instead of position:50px; to correct the issue.  I made top:0; and now when scrolling there is a proper amount of padding below the site admin button and it is fully visible.

Add this into the code and it should fix the issue:

[data-region="drawer"] {
    padding-top: 65px;
    top: 0;
}

To see the issue login as manager and on a page with the left panel open scroll down.  If the list is longer than the browser window it will not show the site admin button/link

Thanks S. Kavita, for offering to help with QA testing.

You are already included in testers group on the tracker, so you should be able to pass or fail QA tests. We still have more than 50% tests remaining and 2 weeks to go, so it's not late.

Your help is really appreciated smile
