Problem in Creating Moodle Account

I install Moodle 3.0.2 and WampServer Version 2.5.

When I going to create an admin account it was not give the account confirmation mail. It was given the following error.


If you are a user

  • Inform your administrator immediately. There is nothing you can do to fix this issue.

If you are an Administrator

  • Please Check that SMTP server is correctly set.
  • Ensure that SMTP server is able to send emails.


Please let me know how to create an admin account when you install Moodle in laptop.

Those error messages didn't come from Moodle... so you might be asking in the wrong place. 

Hopefully somebody else recognises them.

The admin account is created automatically when you install moodle.  How are you trying to create an account?  It sounds like you have authentication by email set up but have not set up the email settings on the site.
