Dear All,

For the up gradation moodle version we need to upgrade the php version from 5.3.3 to 5.4.4. After the upgradation of the PHP version the following error was shown in the site in moodle v2.6. Any help appreciated.

Error: database driver problem detected

The site administrator should verify server configuration

PHP has not been properly configured with the OCI8 extension so that it can communicate with Oracle. Please check your php.ini file or recompile PHP.

Because the new build of PHP doesn't have the OCI8 extension in it perhaps?

Where did you get your PHP from and what OS is this?

I think you will need to speak to your hosting team.
