Not all moodle site contents are indexed, we need to add a new search area for each content area we want to index; we have MDL-55303 to add course sections and potential courses where users can be enrolled (the issue is currently blocked by MDL-55548
Note that course descriptions are already indexed as part of my courses search area, you may not be enrolled in the course you are searching for. Other courses search area will include course descriptions as well.
