Moodle 3.0.4 pathway issues

Moodle 3.0.4 pathway issues

Hello

we have just (last week) upgraded to Moodle 3.0.4 on Linux.

In the system pathways and the antivirus pathways, doesn't seem to matter what we do we can't get the tick to appear at the end of the row, only crosses even though we are sure the pathways are correct. We have checked permissions, ownership etc. as well.

Is this a bug, possibly?

I have just seen that moodle 3.0.5 is out now as well so maybe we just have to upgrade to that and hopefully it will all go away.

Regards

Heather

Presumably you are talking about System administration > Server > Server paths

If you are *absolutely sure* they are where you think the are then I would next try switching on Debugging and revisiting the page. Also check your web server error log. We're hoping a revealing notice or warning shows up that might explain this.

Which variety of Linux are you using and what paths are you using?

Hi

why is it you never think of the obvious, like turn debugging on!

Thank you for that.

Turns out it is trying to be secure with the open_basedir thing. I thought we had checked that yesterday, but if we did we made a poor job of checking it.

I think we might be on to a winner now.

Heather
