It has occurred to me when reading about PENS that one aspect of the Becta learning platform conformance framework may be about handling vocabularies related to tracking programmes of study and national curriculum level assessments. I guess GCSE and Diploma exam boards will be producing tracking and assessment vocabularies as well. Any LP that includes course management in school will probably need to be able to automatically update it's tracking and assemnet tables with these vocabularies. As far as I am aware Becta intend to organise a web service and download services for LP to do this automatically.
Is there anywhere in Moodle where you can track coverage of a programme of study against authoritative vocabularies? All I can think of is the scales section?
