Using Moodle 3.1 version.

From Moodle official documentation about Global Search says:

Solr 5/6 schema setup

Moodle will use Solr's managed schema interface to install the required fields. You will be directed on what to do from the Manage global search page.

For very large or busy sites, it is recommended that you manually remove the _text_ field, and associated copy directive from, the default Solr schema. This field is not used by Moodle, and will significantly slow indexing, and increase the size of the resulting Solr core.

Visit your moodle site with port number 8983, then choose the core selector, then click on the schema find the Solr Server schema, from there you can find _text_ field. (See solr_screen_shot.JPG which attached)

After select _text_ from drop down menu, there are a button called delete field. (See solr_screen_shot 1.JPG)

Is that safe to do so? Same action as the documentation said?
Please help.
