Notifications going to other teachers

Hello all. 

Just to get it out of the way: 

  • Moodle version - 2015051102
  • Moodle release - 2.9.2 (Build: 20150914)

Alright so that main problem is that the notifications when students finish essay quizzes or when they submit an assignment are not being sent to the correct trainer. The course has groups and the assessment/quiz is set to separate groups. 

The weird thing is that the people who do receive the notifications are not part of any group. 

Some additional information:

  • Some of these "users" are Managers in the system
  • Some are just regular non-editing teachers that are also not part of any group
  • Not sure if it is important, but these problematic courses are metalinked elsewhere

Can't seem to figure it out guys.

Hi Sandino, do these users have any roles on the course itself ignoring the group?

What roles do these users have on the course?

Course Administration>Users>>Enrolled Users and view the roles
