How can I deny guest access to a resource in a course ? How can I deny guest access to a whole topic ?
In the old version there was an option for the resource to be visible only to certain groups.

You can prevent guests from viewing a resource by editing the resource permissions and removing the capability to view the resource for the guest role. Please see the documentation Permissions for details.
You can also prevent guests from viewing a block, if you wish, however it's not possible to prevent guests from viewing a course section.
