It is definitely a slow connection problem from our end. Earlier in the day it connected quite right and I was doing the configuration before it grind to a halt again due to the user population on the network, I suppose.
I thought it might be a theme issue and I asked at the adaptive theme forum but I doubt it, since it works quite right when I logged on earlier today.
The cloudflare is a good idea, though haven't experience with it. I checked the control panel, there is no option for it. I will take note to ask support.
