I have a problem with one of my teachers receiving email messages when a student submits a quiz attempt. I have check course and quiz permissions and in both instances (for the role of teacher) the option to receive email is set to "allow". However the teacher is not receiving emails when the quiz is submitted or attempted. Any ideas?

Since no one else has replied, I'll take a stab at it. You mention you have checked course and quiz permissions, but how about System permissions? Have you checked the permissions for the actual person at site, course, and quiz levels? Another possibility, under Site administration > Advanced features, does your site have Notification email override enabled? And if so, does this person have an alternate email address?
