Dear Chris Grable,

As Martin says, you can make a power-point type presentation and export it as a flash file. This could have several pages, each with the static course content (or even animate course content if you wanted) that you are referring to as resource 1, resource 2, etc.

Please see the demonstration flash file in the sandbox at the bottom of the (top level of) Using Moodle Forums.

Alternatively you could create X resources on your course, and then using "show source" copy the html code for the icons and links required to link to each of the resources (>2) and then paste each of the link into the previous resource, such that at the end of resource 1 contains a link to resource 2 and so on.

If you wish to prevent (tsk-tsk, bad notion) students from looking at the resources out of order, e.g. going to resource 2 or X first, then,  since it is now not possible to to link to "hidden" resources, at present you can use Bernard Bouchers's beta stage activities linking hack available at

It seems to work well with minor incompatibilities with the glossary.
