I currently have a forum open for which students make contributions that will form the basis of a future patchwork assessment. At a set time the forum is closed so that students can view the posts that have already been made but can not add to them.
Previously this has worked by simply changing the forum status to 'No Discussions, No Replies' - however today I have changed the setting as before, but students are still being allowed to reply to existing posts.
Obviously this situation is far from ideal as this gives students extra sources to use and contradicts the advise I have given them.
Am I doing something wrong, or is this a change in implementation for the current version? If so can anyone suggest a workaround?
