Moodle 3.0.1, Essential Theme and hiding default names of sections

Hello everyone.

We need to hide the default names of sections.

When we were using Moodle 2.8 and Essential theme, we used to write spaces in the name of the section, so in remain hidden and never use the default name (topic 1, 2, etc...) Than way we could use images,  icons, etc, for each of our course chapters.

Now with Moodle 3.0.1 and latest version of Essential theme, the platform does not allow to simply write the spaces.

How can we solve this issue?

Sincerely,

K. Segura.

The latest change I can remember in this area is: https://github.com/gjb2048/moodle-theme_essential/issues/583

This functionality is in the area of course formats.  Essential itself overrides some of it but not that: https://github.com/gjb2048/moodle-theme_essential/blob/master/classes/format_renderer_toolbox.php.

Therefore would only be a theme issue if it only happened in Essential.  But I suspect will happen in any theme, such as Clean.
