Bulk uploading hangs/stops if there are many users, please suggest
I have a user list of 6000 participants, bulk uploading using cvs works but stops on 4000 or so users, I have tried this out using dummy data, using simple fields, again again, but it just hangs up when the list exceeds a count of 1000, randomly.
Could anyone suggest a solution or an alternative? I am aware there are different authentication methods but I need the users to appear as the part of the moodle system.
Hangs up means: the list been generated when bulk uploading takes place keeps on displaying users being added, but then suddenly at any random count, stops then the browser page response very very slowly, The continue button is present at the last but clicking on it makes no difference, no reaction.
