Does anyone know the dates of the moot in Los Angeles?

Are there any other US moots in 2016?

Hi Edwinna

Frankie Tech Support here. You can check for news on USA Moot2016 from https://moodlemoot.org/

Schedule (dates) here: https://mootus.moodlemoot.org/mod/page/view.php?id=328
In due time, I am sure the dates will be filled in. In the mean time, you can monitor news via the Twitter hashtag: https://twitter.com/hashtag/MootUS16?src=hash or check with

Hope this helps. For me, a two-way and paid-for ticket to L.A, helps. In the absence of that, there is always the iMoots for me where I can travel around the world in the comfort of my chair with a mug of hot chocolate. smile

Have a nice day.

Thanks.  I was trying to find the exact dates in June because I go to the ISTE Conference each year which is at the end of June.  I couldn't find the exact dates anywhere.

There is a Moodle Moot in Michigan January 7th and 8th.  It is a two day Moot with several preconferences.  Michelle Moore is the featured speaker.  She is high energy and full of great ideas!

Does anyone know how many registered to Moodle Moot in Michigan so far? I am trying to decide if this is worth attending all the way from Florida. People may hesitate registering since it may require driving in snowy roads.

It is generally a smaller moot but with two days of sessions and lots of time to talk with others.  There are break-out rooms staffed with Moodle experts to help with questions as well at anytime.

There is talk of changing up the event to be during the summer so classroom teachers can attend.

It would be worth your time to attend just to meet and talk with Michelle Moore.  She is really good.

Up here in Michigan it was 45-50 degrees just this past Monday.  We still wear shorts in that weather!
