thanks for clarifying that versions 3.2 of the FindIt output formats do not include any major changes from version 3.1, particularly in the javascript.
This page suggests that the "replaceNode()" method was once available in IE, but it is not avaiable in modern browsers, and in any case the use of "replaceNode()" in the FindIt output formats specifies two parameters, but the old "replaceNode()" in IE only used one parameter.
Therefore, I think the use of the "replaceNode()" in the FindIt output formats is simply a typing mistake that is left over from when this output format was created by Michael R. Only he can tell us for sure, but I believe it should be changed to "replaceChild()".
Since this output format has been working well for a long time, there is perhaps no need to change it, but FYI I have changed the templates used in the HotPot and TaskChain modules to change "replaceNode" to "replaceChild".
