We have installed the BBB plugin in our Moodle 2.8. The teachers were really excited and looking forward to using BBB. Only 2 or 3 teachers did use it with students, but then we started having load issues. BBB either wouldn’t load at all or would require an unacceptable amount of time to load.
When BBB is launched the url is : https://test-install.blindsidenetworks.com/client/BigBlueButton.html
Does this mean we are on a test site?
We use a Moodle Partner and they installed the plugin. I’ve read that BBB should be installed on it’s own dedicated server. Could this be the reason it is no longer loading?
We would like to resolve this before going back to our Moodle partner. I guess my question is, should BBB be sufficient just being installed as a plugin, or is there some other installation that needs to take place somewhere. As we sit now, it is useless to our program.
Any feedback on this would really be appreciated.
