i want to add a quiz on moodle 1.9 , which will set as negative marking quiz , and that is 1/4 marking.
i mean if 4 question is wrong then marks of one question will cut .
And when i download this result then negative marking should be included on that result
Please send me whole process from first to last , i am new on moodle

Lalit, to most of us around here Moodle 1.9 feels like ancient history. I used Moodle 1.9 for about 2.5 years and I still couldn't tell you if this was even possible in Moodle 1.9. That was 4 years ago for me. I hope for your sake that someone might still have an old installation of Moodle 1.9 on their localhost that they can refresh their memory with. But I wouldn't bet on it.
If you're new to Moodle then why do you have such an old version?

so tell me which version should i use so my both problem would remove

All the recent versions should be able to handle your requests. Moodle 1.9 hasn't been supported in roughly 2 years. Even then it had only support for security fixes. I'd recommend upgrading all the way to 2.9. Do you have any plugins on your site? You'll want to make sure that you can get them upgraded as well.
On the multiple choice question front: You need to create each multiple choice question so that all the wrong answers have a grade of -25% while the correct answer is +100%.
On the open status front: You need to set the "When time expires" setting in the Quiz settings to "Open attempts are submitted automatically." You can read more detail on how this works here: https://docs.moodle.org/29/en/Quiz_settings#Timing

According To You , I have updated my moodle version now i am on moodle 2.9.1 , i am not able to understand that version , so please tell me about moodle 2.9.
