Selecting a specific question TYPE from the Q bank for a random quiz

So, if I have a category of questions (containing multiple choice questions, essay questions and true/false questions) can I select X number of multiple choice questions ONLY? Or would I need to set up a new category with only MC questions to pull from?

I am using Moodle 2.8 BTW...

You need to separate them by category.
