[2.8] Embed Audio as Question

Hi there,

I am trying to embed audio as questions rather than using text. The problem I have is, that the question will only display a link to the audio file (mp3) rather than a player.

If I embed an audio file in a description field in a quiz it works fine but embedding audio in any quiz type question gives me a link.

I am using Moodle 2.8 and have Poodll installed. I have tried deactivating the multimedia filter but that doesn´t seem to help.

I am at a bit of a loss here, since I have quite a lot of material based on audio questions. Any help or push in a direction would be much appreciated.

It should work the same anywhere in Moodle.

Can you test if another filter (e.g. Glossary auto-linking, or emoticons or something) works in that question type?

Thanks for your fast reply. Unfortunately I have been wasting your time. I am sorry about that.

After having slept a few hours I realized I have been uploading ".aif" files and not "mp3". After uploading in the correct format everything works as it should.
