I am a bit confused regarding the setting about logs in Moodle
In the setting section Site administration / ► Plugins / ► Logging / ► Standard log
The option logstore_standard | loglifetime will keep the logs in Moodle for as long as I set it BUT what happens when I delete the course? Are logs being deleted as well?
Second question, in the section Site administration / ► Courses / ► Backups / ► General backup defaults
There is the option backup | loglifetime, this value specifies what will be included in the course backup when I backup a course?
For example if I set it to 30 days and I backup a course that has logs from 60 days ago, it will only keep 30?
The reason I am asking is because I was under the impression that when I backup the course I have all logs of the course stored somewhere.
Apparently this is not true, because I was looking for logs in an old course and I couldnt find anything.
Is there a way to delete a course and not delete the logs?
