This is a notification of some new features, fixes and improvements in the Moodle Plugins directory.

  • We are now using a new lightbox viewer for plugin screenshots. Most notably, the new version better handles big images so they should always fit your display size.Screenshot of the new reports in the administration block
  • The subsystem of community reviews has been cleaned-up, fixed and styled finally.
  • A new public report Reviewed plugins has been added, listing all the plugins with a community review available.
  • For better access to recently published plugins, there is now a new report Recently approved plugins.

Big thanks to all community members for keeping our approval team busy by submitting new plugins continuously. We are sorry for current delays in approval reviews, you shall hear from us soon!

David, is this a feature or a bug?

When I select 2.8 here in the plugins, and click search, I get every theme, not just the ones with 2.8 in them.

It's a feature. The actually selected Moodle version influences some other widgets in the UI (e.g. it is highlighted in the list of supported Moodle versions and you get the instant "Install" button relevant for your version) but it does affect the search results.
