I've released Grid and Collapsed Topics stable version for Moodle 2.9 because I am confident that there are no issues with them. In Collapsed Topics I have removed IE7 selectors as the minimum requirement for M2.9 is IE9: https://docs.moodle.org/dev/Moodle_2.9_release_notes#Browser_support. Both formats have had an optimisation of the CSS.
