P.S. We are on Moodle 2.8.6, build 20150511.
We have a course that has numerous forums. When you click on "Forums" from the "Activities" block, it takes you to a page that shows all of the forums and their discussion counts. Two of the forums are showing zero discussions even though there are 15 discussions in one and 13 in the other. Why would it be showing no discussions when there are discussions?

I figured out the problem. The professor had set display end dates for those posts that were prior to the current date so they were no longer showing. It was just a matter of using the system correctly.
