Dear all,
I am looking for a solution to add users into groups (front page groups/course groups it doesn't matter) or into cohorts automatically by their - custom - profile fields.
I found out the ELIS "add on LMS" which should allow it with the settings "User sets". However I am looking for a solution in-Moodle, more than external.
Do you have more information about it? Am I missing some helpful plugins?

My only problem is that the plugin doesn't match good with the Multi selection in custom profile fields (https://moodle.org/plugins/view.php?plugin=profilefield_multiselect) that I need to use to create groups/cohorts
I don't know what to do.
