Implement header with a enroll plugin?

Hi,

I'm exploring the way Moodle can work with payments, and besides plugins which can only purchase one course (like paypal), there is the option to create a virtual store and sync it with moodle (Opencart, osCommerce, 2Checkout).

It would probably be more efficient to get it all on the same web application, instead of having two services synced. From a point of view from a developer, I believe there's everything I need to work with at Moodle. The main problem would be the shopping cart. As each course can have it's pricing, and it can be purchased by sending to paypal, the "next step" would be group the courses the customer adds, to purchase all at once.

Okay, cutting to the subject: would it be possible to add an enroll plugin that can add the shopping cart on the header?

Maybe a theme itself can work with the database to sync the items from this plugin, but that way I would need to have booth installed, and it wouldn't look good.

Thanks in advance.
