Everyone has full access to my site since a crash last week - permissions not respected

Hi,

I've had to put my site in maintenance mode because since I had a crash last week (for reasons unkown) and rebooted the server, even non logged-in users have FULL access to my site and its resources.

It used to work perfectly fine before.

Any clue as to what may have happened or where to start troubleshooting? (apache / database / moodle itself...)

Disregard above discussion. It turned out I had improper permissions on many newly uploaded files...

How can I delete my own discussion, and why is it so difficult to see? Now THAT is a good question...
