That is, MDL-38899. We want this too.
The ability to limit file type for file upload submissions
Does anywhere else in Moodle do this (e.g. assignment module)? But, when we are getting the student to upload a file, can we have a restriction of which file types. E.g. requring an image. Or requiring a .doc document?
Automatically allocate late submissions
You can re-allocate late submissions, but only by fiddling around with the phases. It would be nice to automate it with a schedule task. This would require MDL-47798. MDL-27238 asks for even more than this, but we don't need to go that far.
Need a clear list of non-submitters that respects group mode
If you are using separate groups, then that makes the list of people who have submitted easy to work with in big courses. However, there is no easy way to see a list of people in one group who have not submitted, and we would like that so tutors can monitor the students in their own group.
