Creating Glossaries using Google sheets

Hi all!

I'm looking for a way to create glossaries using Google sheets as the core document.  I looked through the thread on creating them from Excel, but that relies on a macro which obviously won't work in Google Drive (and I don't have Excel anyway).

Has anyone any experience or tips regarding this?  The glossaries will be used with the games plugin, so they will be hidden and have just concept and text definition with no automatic linking.  Categories would be nice to have though!

It seems as though it shouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility, but I'm not sure where to start. 

Any pointers would be much appreciated!

Andy,

The Import/export in glossaries is in XML format. The Excel macros that you refer to allow the information to be put into XML format.  Here is some information which may help you.  There are links there on where to get more information on XML formatting, etc.
