There is an attack by Guest User login on my website and the log page runs into hundreds of pages. It seems to login every 3 secs or so on two specific pages related to the subject of CAD-CAM and Latex document preparation system.
I deleted the Guest User login al teast three or four times, but it reappears after twenty minutes or so.
the problem is that the log pages are running into hundreds of pages and we fear the computer may lose it's speed performance with this much of log records.
how to trackle this problem ?

You can find the IP address of the guest and then who it belongs to by running an enquiry at www.dnsstuff.com.
You could disable access by Google in the Administration > Variables area.
