i am using moodle 2.7+
i have an assignment , in which most of the students submit files to that.So how to delete those uploaded files ,Because i dont have enough space...please help me
The files can be tricky to locate. You'll need to know a few things. First, you'll need to know the assignment ID. You can find this by going to the submissions page and getting it from the URL. Second, you'll need to know the student ID. If you go to the student's profile, his/her ID should display in the URL. Be areful not to confuse the student ID with the course ID.
Once you have the IDs, go to your course files and open up the moddata folder. Look for the folder with the assignment ID, open it, and then click on the subfolder with the student ID. From there you can delete the file.
This was the method I used to delete files in Moodle 1.9. If anyone has a better solution for 2.7, please feel free to share it!
