Currently reported for a single classroom, with groups, the instructor has set up a Q&A forum for each assignment. The first week most of the students responded to the forum during the week and they were okay, the last day the forum was open two students were not able to respond to the forum. We looked at all the settings but there didn't seem to be any reason for it to time out.
We set up a new forum for those two students to respond to.
The following week the same scenario played out only there were several more students who could not respond on the last day the forum was open.
This past week we set the forum to expire 24hours later than in the previous two weeks telling the students that it expired on the actual expiry date. There were no problems but this is not how it is supposed to work.
Is there a setting I'm missing?
The forum has the following completion settings:
Student Must Create Discussions (1)
Expect Completed on - (and the date)
Everything else is the default.
Any Ideas?
