SCORM identifier duplicates: any issues?

Hi all,

When creating elearning, we sometimes start out from an existing module. I believe the SCORM Identifier of the new file remains the same as the old one by default. Are there issues with having the same SCORM identifier in different SCORM objects in Moodle?

While I could have our course developers manually change the SCORM identifier to a unique value, it'd be easier to just not... big grin

We do the same and have not encountered any issues. I think the problem is when you change the identifier and you are just updating an existing module.

definitely no issues there - as long as the identifiers are unique within the individual imsmanifest file inside a single SCORM. It doesn't matter if those same values are used in a completely separate SCORM package.
