Global wiki in moodle 2.8.+?

From what I understand a wiki can be linked to 1 course only.

Is there a way to make it global and accessible from ALL / ANY courses a student might take?

Group Particularly helpful Moodlers

Sebastien,

The main way I know of is to use a META course with the WIKI in it that all other courses you wanted connected to the WIKI would be connected to. Documentation on Meta Courses here.

Just thought of something else. If you really wanted all students connected to the Wiki, but don't need any grading in other courses, you can make a cohort of all your students and link the cohort to the course with the Wiki. If you want the instructors all to see the Wiki, they would also have to be connected.  Again a cohort could do that.

cool
