I've got a query that's kind of related. I've been wanting to allow all staff access to View all courses in moodle for a while now. I have a site wide role that has all the permissions I want, but there is no way to automatically assign 'staff' this role as users don't get a system context role assigned to them? does anyone know of a way of somehow doing this globally? via a profile field or something?
