For some reason, the program will not accept the town and country listed in the general profile setting and therefore I can not move any further than that. Classes start on Monday and I really want to have this issue resolved. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello there. If you are the administrator of the Moodle site you are talking about then look in Site administration>Location>Location settings and make sure nothing is selected for country and city. If you are not the administrator but are a student or teacher then contact the administrator of your Moodle and ask them to check the same, explaining the issue you have outlined here.
