Hi.

Is the above possible?

If yes, how? I have looked everywhere / read all the docs. and it seems to me that you can only award badges to groups of students, or am I wrong?

Hear from you,

Mark.

Hi Mark,

I have awarded badges to individual students.  To do that:

  • Go to Badges, and Manage badges, under Administration in your main page
  • Click on the little award badge icon in the Actions column
  • Search for the student in the right hand column, highlight the one you want, and click Award badge

Cheers, Debbie Grace

When setting up badges criteria you can choose "manual issue by role" and this means whoever has the chosen role, usually the teacher, can manually award a badge to any student or students for any reason. Please see the section "Criteria" in Using badges

Thanks Mary,

I appreciate your help.   I took your course last fall and now have 2.6 and a course to work with..  I'm looking forward to trying out what I learned.
