Want the site home page to be Alternative Login URL

Hello,

I have successfully set the Alternate Login URL using my own webpage.

I would like this to be the default/landing page for my site, but it can only be accessed via the login screen, extension /auth/index.html

I have tried to redirect the default/landing page to the login page using .htaccess redirect, however this breaks the login form.

I am using Moodle 2.5.5 with the configurable reports plugin.

Try this:

Under the Site Policies settings, enable the 'Force Users to Login' setting.  This should force everyone to start at the login page, which is set to your alternate URL.

I'm now finding that SSL login no longer works.

I have Moodle HTTPS enabled.
