Importing course from other course works great ... but ...

Hi there

I'd like to repeatedly provide standardized courses in weekly format. So I thouht to import content from one course to an other in the same category. Works well, but: Is it really true that start dates of lessons, tests, assigments, etc. do not take the start date of the new course into account? Or do I overlook something?

That is true I'm afraid.

There was a post a short while ago which also provided code to offset all dates (I think!). My memory tells me you would specify to increase all dates by, say, two weeks.

Can't find it right now so have a search of the forums (poss general developer) and also have a look in cvs for anything that may be near to what I am talking about.

where we are discussing ways in which this might be acheived. The link you posted to Brian Koontz's date changer is great too. It has become a very useful block more recently.
