Hi guys,
One moodle copy I recently installed is currently crashing and bringing down the server when few (maybe 4) users are logged in simultaneously. In the error log I found it is giving an out of memory error, and when looking into what is going on when the server is running (top -1) the only thing that stands out besides the usual mysql popping up every now and then is multiple - sometimes up to twelve - instance of httpd even when only one user is logged in. Is this normal?
If with just one user httpd is consuming 22% of the available memory, could it be that with 4 we are just running out of the available memory space?
The server is a CentOS 6.5, Ram is 1Gb with Ballooning Support to up to 3Gb. Moodle version latest. PHP APC installed and running.
Thanks for your time and help
