with that said, 89MB is still to date is LOT to transfer on a shared bandwidth, as I was as well assuming the CPU rendering as a possible issue, because Desktops are always powerful as compared to handhelds and laptops, but you just cleared that out saying that its working fine on a cloud, means difference of pipe makes difference.
what are you hosted on? shared or VPS?
for shared hostings, I personally have bought and tested JustHost, Hostmonster, Arvixe, GigaPros, CrocWeb and Turnkey Internet and have found CrocWeb's and TurnKey's network to be fastest of All. You can find more about their options for CrocWeb HERE, and for TurnKey HERE.
As with all service providers, they all have minimum of 30 days of time to check their services, CrocWeb gives 60 days I think. and I would recommend them both based on 100% uptime so far in last 3 months of testing.
Out of these 2, each have benefits, Like if I have to recommend Croc over Turnkey, then Croc is based on SSD Drives and Litespeed webserver (as opposed to Apache on most hostings), and Litespeed doubles up the speed of PHP as compared to Apache, its paid server but pays off when it comes to performance, thats why CrocWeb's servers are so far the smallest (12 core CPU) I have tested in any of the hosting providers so far, but they outperform many just based on their Litespeed servers.
If I have to recommend Turnkey over litespeed, then Turnkey have powerful servers, the hardware is their OWN, as opposed to many buying servers somewhere else and then reselling them out (Croc does that too).
Apart of these three, If I have to do another strong recommendation, that is HosterPK.com, though its a Pakistani managed hosting company, but stronger Hardware (24 core) with Litespeed servers makes them my very recommended, and they too have showed 100% uptime tested over last 30 days. They have their servers from Limestone Networks / Cyrus Networks etc, the best thing, they are very very fairly priced. I wouldn't have expected this level of performance from an Asian managed host at least. Unless rivalry between India and Pakistan keeps you from considering them, you can always consider them
if you want to go for a self managed solution, then you can get a strong VPS at a price that puts many shared hosting providers to shame, then its Contabo.com, their prices are so unbelievable that I had to independently test their network, and its 100% so far, besides their own clients recommending them. They are German based company, and you can find more about them HERE.
