Hello,

I would like to give permissions to certain rolls in our organization to view courses in our Moodle per category (all courses under a specific category) but when I do that I don't want that those courses will be displayed in the "my courses" list.  I want them to have access to those courses through the tree display that we have in our home page but not via the "my courses" list becuase those courses are not really their courses - they just need the option to view their content.

Hi Sigal,

Sorry I'm no help but I'm also trying to achieve the same thing. 

Previously I've created a landing course which links to many other courses that users don't need to see within 'My courses' but still need access as and when. This was easy as it didn't matter who within the organisation had access so I set the courses up as 'guest' access.

This time I need to do the same but the courses cannot be set up as guest access. 

Hopefully someone will get back to you with the answers you require.
